Aftercare

Post - Appointment recommendations:

Tattoos take roughly a month to heal so many activities are recommended to pause: bathing/ swimming/ exercising for that duration to ensure it heals best

  • When using second skin I recommend removing within 24 hours, it may cause irritation (burning/ excess itching) and when experiencing this, please remove with clean hands under warm water
  • Cleansing and moisturizing 3-5x a day with a non-scented water based cleanser, avoiding antibacterial and aloe products ( I recommend cetaphil or cerave)
  • Avoiding direct sunlight as it may cause pain and healing complications 
  • Avoid bodies of water where you are soaking the tattoo 
  • limit exercise in the tattooed area for a week to avoid sweating and excess movement of the skin
  • No sunscreen for 4 weeks
  • Avoid tight/ constricting clothing for a week 

Healed Photos / Scheduling a retouch

Retouching previous tattoos are always free, you may send me an email with a healed photo attached and dates/ day and time of the week that works best for you and I will get back to you as soon as I can!
